Since we’ve supported (and carried) Mugler since Nicola started, we certainly remember and were a part of some of these moments: especially the Muglerette bag he created for CURVE’s 15th Anniversary!!

Curve Soleil hosted a private charity event and art exhibition by Ludwig Haskins, the son of late iconic photographer Sam Haskins. Haskins was a defining figure of 60s photography and a key player in that decade’s sexual liberation. He influenced leading photographers iall over the world with his beautiful approach to nudity, and his most successful book, Cowboy Kate and Other Stories (1964), is one of the best selling photo books of all time. Adrian Grenier and Peter Glatzer of SHFT hosted the event with Adam Smith of V&M, and the funds raised from sales of Haskins’ prints benefited SHFT’s Mobile Classroom, a new nonprofit organization that provides high school students with the opportunity to learn about food politics, food justice, nutrition and basic healthy cooking skills.

Named after her and her family– M (Matt), daughter Orchid (O), Natasha (N), Coffin (C) and son Sky born on the 13th day, shoppers will find a beautiful environment and unique, spectacular, hand-picked selections from 18th Century to Mid Century in this seaside jewel. Carine Roitfeld is putting together an ‘ALL BLACK EVERYTHING” fashion show for the amFAR Cinema Against AIDS party in Cannes next week. Based on the what Roitfeld considers the “perfect black wardrobe”, looks have already been donated from Balenciaga, Chanel, Givenchy, Christopher Kane, Alex Wang, and more, and will be auctioned off after the show as a whole lot. Who’s buying all of those pieces…together? A super-rich sample size socialite or someone who’s going to flip it on eBay is our guess….either way, we wish it was us!!!! And no, the Jay-Z reference doesn’t imply his involvement, although it’s never too late to donate a performance for charity…..hint, hint…..
