Mugler is always one of the most exciting appointments of Paris Fashion Week. The most amazing development of all (besides the sick as shit collection, of course)?? Nicola Formichetti is designing a limited edition tricolor Muglerette bag for Curve’s 15th anniversary!!!!!!!!!! So get your name on the list QUICK!!!
Seriously, Christopher Kane’s collection for Spring is so sick. Never mind the out of control iridescent walls in the showroom (that Christopher did himself) – we’re talking embroidered and embellished chiffons, puffy quilted chic biker jackets, a dress made completely out of rubber jelly and a Frankenhoodie? Done and done……..
We are absolutely obsessed with Anthony Vacarello and his Spring collection blew us away! We especially loved the shoes he did in partnership with Giuseppe Zanotti, shown below. However our favorite part was seeing his inspiration board for the season – with pictures of Anja Rubik, the late LouLou de la Falaise, Madonna, and even Michelle Pfeiffer as Elvira Hancock in Scarface…..

Button downs were buttoned all the way up in Paris this week – from editors to models, ladies were rocking the spreads and semi spreads with jewelry on the outside for a chic look in cold weather…..

While bright accents were spotted all over the streets of Paris, the models kept their color palettes neutral and monochromatic. Once they finished gracing the runways with Fall’s sophisticated ladylike looks, they emerged from shows in more masculine silhouettes with crewnecks and button up shirts layered with leather moto jackets and collared sweaters, furs, and shearlings.
