Fashionistas and stylephiles rejoice! Carine Roitfeld’s hotly anticipated new magazine CR Fashion Book has officially released its first editorial image! It’s model Juliet Ingleby, shot by Sebastian Faena and styled by Carine, enveloped in a sheer lavender veil blowing in the breeze walking through a cemetery by three mourning ladies-in-waiting. Sick! You can also join the mailing list now and pre-order your copy before its release date of September 13. Carine also plans to fête the debut of her book during New York Fashion Week…watch this space for all the info!

Alber Elbaz has opted not to use runway models for the Lanvin Fall campaign, instead choosing to feature real women and men, ranging in age from 18 to 80. The images by Steven Meisel runs the human gamut as Alber took each subject’s story into account before deciding the theme of their portait in the apartment-like setting. Alber tells WWD:
“I was interested to bring these clothes back to the street somehow, and seeing how they look on different ages, different sizes. It felt like a crazy family, and I like that.”
Rumors are that the portraits include an immigrant, a waiter, and an elderly woman who always wanted to be a model. Alber made her wish come true.

Here at Curve we have a slightly unhealthy obsession with Erin Wasson. Not only is she one of the sickest models to ever do it, she’s also a great client of the store and super friendly. So when these images appeared in our inbox we were super stoked because One Teaspoon is also one of our fave lines at Curve! With One Teaspoon’s cute separates and Erin’s rock and roll style, it’s a marriage made in heaven. Especially for us! Now maybe she’ll step up those store visits now…..

Jeff Koons’ colour-pop paintings were part of Thea Bregazzi and husband Justin Thornton’s inspiration behind Preen’s resort 2013 collection. The duo mixed the color surrealism with sporty details for a fresh and cool Preen collection that we can’t wait to get into stores!
It seems that sporty is here to stay, at least for another season….
